Briding Back Business: The initiative is in its second week, revitalizing river town businesses

To support the return of clients and prosperity to river towns in Northern Kentucky affected by the sudden closure of the Daniel Carter Beard bridge at the end of last year, various businesses in the participating cities of Dejon, Bellevue, Newport, Covington, and Fort Thomas, Kentucky, and special events, to bring business to NKY.

The “Bridging Back Business” initiative is coordinated by Meetnky and the North Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, which aims to support local businesses and their return from business loss created by the closure of the bridge-and revitalizing the spirit of energy in river cities.

Newport, Dayton and Bellevue started the initiative last week, and now – as promised – Covington and Fort Thomas are joining. More will come until March 15.

In addition, New Riff is sponsoring a NKY cocktail competition in cities that will culminate in a large cocktail showdown on its Aquifer grass. Competition invites bars and restaurants across NKY to display a new Riff Rye cocktail to help bring foot traffic to local places. Those who visit bars and restaurants can order the cocktail and scan a QR code to vote for the best ones. The winners in each city will make their way to face to face and create an original cocktail in the country using new riff rye and a mystery component provided by Kroger.
